What's In My Bag?

I am pretty sure we have all seen when celebrities empty out their purses for magazine articles. Not gonna lie, I have always wanted to do that so now I am. Now I carry around different purses for different things, I have a separate bag for work at the flower store, babysitting, shopping and going out. This one is just my general work bag right now. I was using a different one, but I broke it and haven't fixed it yet so for now it works.

Yes my bag is glitter gold, don't act like you are surprised. I love this bag because it is so big and fits everything in it that I will need. I am what one would call over prepared so I carry a lot of crap that I think it will need, and surprisingly sometimes I do use them. Anywho, the bag I use is huge! I got it from Bath and Body Works about a year ago during a sale promotion and it had Twilight Woods products in it. The vinyl exterior is a dream, I never have to worry about it getting dirty since I can just wipe it clean and when I get caught in the rain I don't have to worry about it getting ruined. Also it allows me to have a glittery bag without glitter getting everywhere. It is well made and can fit tons of stuff in it. I also use it as an overnight bag when I stay over places after parties.

1)Hand Lotion
At the flower store I am constantly getting my hands wet and raw so having a lotion with me is a life saver. Plus I just like to smell nice so I am constantly applying lotion. Travel sized from Bath and Body Works are clutch and always in every one of my purses.

2)Pens/Pencils
I carry more than I probably will ever need, but hey better to be safe than sorry.

3)Compact Mirror
You never know when you need to check to see if you have something on your face, I picked up a punch of cute compacts at Michaels for around $2. They are big enough to have a good sized mirror, and slim enough to throw in a clutch.

4)Emergen C
Again, I get sick a lot so I want something to combat it on hand. Also I read that this little bad boy helps with hangovers and when I am crashing at a friends house after a party I want this with me.

5)Protein Bar
At work things can get hectic and a lunch break isn't a first priority so I carry around these Special K

Water bottle
I drink tons of water so I always have a water bottle on me. Most of the time I have a 64 oz Nalgene bottle, which I have two of, because they leak proof and just easy to carry around. The only problem I have is that they are too big for my cup holders in my car so I can't drink from them while I am stuck in traffic or driving.

Lip balms/chapsticks
I am slightly obsessed with keeping my lips in great shape so generally I have at least two types of balms on me at all times. Now these are just the ones I keep in my purse, if you look in all my jacket pockets, you will find at least one in each jacket. Moisture is key for me so brand wise I will use anything as long as it gets the job done. I love blistex products, they have always done the job for me and they give a little hint of shine. At first I wasn't a fan of eos, but I have finally found a flavor that works for me.

Hand Sanitizer
My immune system has to be the worse immune system ever for someone who has never been diagnosed with a disease or sickness that would affect it. Ever since I was little I have always been susceptible to other people's colds and such. One year I was sick every other week, it sucked. This is why I carry around hand sanitizer. Thank goodness for Bath and Body Works for having these travel sized hand sanitzers and these little key chain holders. They are great because I don’t need to go digging in my bag because it is hanging right there on the handle.

Umbrella
Yes I carry around an umbrella all the time. After going to a school with a giant campus, I realized I would rather have an umbrella with me every day it is supposed to be sunny than no umbrella when it is pouring. Of course my umbrella is polka dotted, if I ever carry around a plan one, please have my head checked out. I got this from Target for less then $10 so it is great just to have one in your bag or car.

Sunglasses/Sunglass Case
You already know I constantly wear sunglasses so it makes sense they would be in my purse. I didn't have a hard case for awhile, but then I found this one at Michaels for $2 and it fits most of my sunglasses in. I wanted a hard case because clearly I carry around a lot of stuff and I don't want my sunglasses getting crushed.

Sunscreen
It is summer, this is a no brainer. This is the same sunscreen I listed in my June Favorites, you should try it, it is great. I got it at Target with a coupon and it came with a free Neutrogena Naturals chapstick so yay for free stuff!

Bright Wallet
I actually have a few wallets and I try to switch them out often just so they don't get worn out so easily and just because I have a sort attention span. This one is my favorite I got in high school. I just love the colors on it and it could be a clutch if I so wanted. I like that it is thinner so I don’t carry around too many cards or cash and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

iPod
I never drive without music on, it calms me and stops me from swearing at people while driving. I have a cassette player converter so I can play it. I am a rare breed of person that I only have music on my ipod. This could be because it is a generation 1 touch so nothing is compatible with it besides music. Anywho, this thing is great for when there is only repeats on the radio or I am just in the mood for something different.

Body Spray
I like to smell nice all the time. Sometimes at work i will get all gross and covered in flower junk, so just a little spray can make me feel better and a little more alive. The spray I have in my purse is "Hello Darling" by Victoria's Secret.

There it is, all the stuff I carry around in my purse on a daily basis. Depending on where I am going I could carry around more or less than this. Thanks for reading dolls!
