With the end of
June, I bring you my favorites, from beauty products to favorite items I wore.
I didn't do too many because this is my first time doing this so I am still
working out the kinks and such.
Favorite nail polish: Maybelline Lust for Lilac
I love this color! I
usually rock dark colors all year, but there is just something about this color
that makes me want to love it forever. It is just so girly and reminds me of
barbie. I rarely have the same color on my nails and toenails, but I constantly
wear this color on both. Even though it is super light and bright, I feel like
it could be worn for every season. I would say it is an essential summer color.

Hair Product: Healthy Sexy Hair Leave in Conditioner
As much as I love my
hair, I beat the crap out of it. I am constantly curling it, dying it, braiding
it, exposing it to the sun, all bad things, so I thought I would show it some
love with a product that would put the good stuff back in. Now I would never
spend $19.99 on one product alone because I am cheap and go through product
fast, but this was on sale at Ulta awhile back for $9.99 so heck yes I got it.
I am almost out of it, so if anyone knows when it will be on sale pleaseeee let
me know. Just a few sprays of this stuff does the job. I use it after I get out
of the shower for a little extra softness. Using it with my Knotty to Nice
detangler is like a little party for my hair. My hair felt better after I used
it, and it looked great whether I blow dried it or just let it air dry.
Summer Stand Out: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist
Sunscreen SPF 30
Once the weather
gets above 70, watering at the flower store becomes a job in its own. When it
gets over 80 it has to be watered twice in one shift. In order to properly
water all the plants, I spend a minimum 1 1/2 hours sometimes 2. This means
that I could spend 4 hours outside watering so having sunscreen with me is a
must. I love this brand because it doesn't make me break out and it really is
dry. Nothing grosses me out more than putting on sunscreen and having a film of
grease on me for the rest of the day. This stuff can literally be sprayed on
and within seconds it is dry. I don't leave the house unless I have this stuff
in my purse. I would be a lobster all summer without it.
Gilette Satin Care Shave Gel With a Touch of Olay
I usually don't use
a shave gel, I just use body wash, but I had a coupon and boy has it made a
difference. I notice that I am able to get a closer shave and it moisturizers
my legs which is a plus. Usually after I shave my legs they get super irritated
and dry and uncomfortable. Using the shave gel has cut down on that so I spend
less time covering my legs in lotion just so I can sleep without my legs being
itchy. Plus the scent is amazing, it has just the right amount of fragrance to
give you a little something, something without competing with your body wash.
Pink Glittery Tumbler
I am green as much
as I can be so one way I do that is by using reusable
tumblers. They make it so convenient for me to
bring iced coffee with me when I go to work or anywhere else I go. I love that
it is sparkly and gives me a little pick me up. I have them in 3 different
colors but the pink one was my go to for June. I got them from the dollar spot
at Target for $2.50, talk about a deal! I just love that I could put coffee in
it, water, juice, anything to cool me down during the hot summer. And for how
little I paid for them, it is not the end of the world if I lose it.
Gold Aviators
I have a sickening
amount of sunglasses, if I try a pair on and they look good, I buy them. That
being said the most expensive pair I have were $15 and those are my UMASS ones
so they hold a special place in my heart. I have all different shapes, colors,
tints and patterns. For me, sunglasses are essential every day all year since I
am so pale and have light eyes. I think long term and wearing sunglasses now is
gonna stop crows feet for a few years. For the most part my accessories are
usually silver, but I have been expanding into the gold and realized it does go
with my skin tone. I love these glasses because they go with everything and
they have just the right amount of bling. In my head aviators look great on
everyone so if you don't have any, go out and get some.
Random Item: Batman Sweatpants
Don't give me that
look, I love me some Batman. I am not a huge sweatpants person, I can honestly
say I never once wore sweatpants or yoga pants to class while I was at school.
I can count on one hand who has seen me in sweatpants, that being said I love
these! They are so comfy I wear them around the house as soon as I get home
from work. The best part is they are thin so I can still wear them in the
summer without dying. I found these at Target in the men's section, yes the men
section, sometimes I need to wear something that is comfy and doesn’t cling to
my booty like yoga pants. My dad and my sister made fun of me for these but who
cares they are great!

There you have it,
my top favorites for June. I am sure there are more products I used a lot in
June, but these were the standouts for me. Let me know if you all have tried
any of these for have something for me to try in July! Kisses!
