Ulta Haul/ NYX Goodies

I went to one of my favorite places today, Ulta. A coupon I had was about to expire and there was also a promotion for 40% off NYX products, and I love me some NYX.  So first I will tell you what I got and then I will break down prices and such. Maybe after I have used the products a few time I will post a review if that seems interesting to people. Also anyone reading my posts, feel free to comment on any posts, I would love to hear from the people.

First up, Jumbo Eye pencils in "Milk" 604 and "Black Bean" 604. I had seen these prior on Instagram so when they were on sale I had to get them. They are retractable which is a plus because always having to sharpen it a pain in the butt. Regularly they are $4.49 each but on sale they were $2.99.

Next I got the "Smokey Shadow Palette". It was between that and the "Nude" palette, I already have a lot of palettes so I did not want to get more than one. The colors in this palette are a sparkly charcoal, a matte black, matte dark purple, shimmery dark blue, shimmery bronze and a matte white. All in all I like all of the colors just from looking, but I will have to play around with it to see how they look on me and how they look together. Regularly $6.99, sale price $4.19.

Surprisingly I only got one shade of eye shadow since it all was on sale. I chose "Leather and Lace" in nude matte shadow. It is a lighter shade and I plan to use it as a base and when I want to do a natural eye. Currently, I have lots of shimmer shades in many different brands so I am constantly on the lookout for nice matte shades. If I like this shade I will more than likely go back and get some more when there is another sale going on. Regular price $4.99, sale price $2.99

Last but not least my favorite purchase of the day Illuminator in "Magnetic". I tried this stuff in the store and fell in love! It has the perfect amount of color and shimmer that just looks amazing on the skin. I am all about trying to perfect contouring and highlighting so when I saw this I knew I had to have it. Fate was at hand because it was not only the last one in that shade, but the last Illuminator at all. I have the cream version, which I am not totally sold on, but the powder is perfection. From what I have seen, this could be a direct dupe for some of the NARS highlighters, but I have yet to compare. Regular price $8.99, sale price $5.39.

Okay, now let's do some math. If it all was regular priced I would have spent $30.95 for 5 products. With the sale $18.55 was what I should have paid, however, I had a coupon for $3.50 off a purchase over $10 so only paid $15.35 with tax included for all that. So I basically paid half of what I should have, which is AWESOME. I love shopping, but I really love shopping and not spending all my money. So stick with me kiddos, I shall show you the way. Now it is time to play with the goodies I bought today :)
